What We Make

Types of Bath Shower Screens We Make

We make bath shower screens to measure in 6mm and 10mm toughened safety glass, built to suit the bath, wall layout and access in your bathroom. There are three styles to choose from, and the right one depends on how your bath is used. If you are weighing up over-bath options against a full enclosure, you can also see our full range of shower screens on the Gold Coast. Our shower screens for baths are built around your bath, not a standard size, so an awkward shape or out-of-square wall is not a problem.

Fixed Swing Bath Screen
Semi-Frameless / Frameless

Fixed & Swing Bath Screen

A fixed & swing bath screen pairs a fixed glass panel with a swing panel, so you get splash control plus a partial opening for easy access over the bath. It works well for combined bath-and-shower layouts. The panel is available semi-frameless or framed.

BEST FOR Combined bath & shower layouts needing easier access
Key spec 450mm swing door + 500mm fixed panel, up to 950mm wide × 1500mm high
Fixed Frameless Bath Screen
Semi-Frameless / Frameless Square

Fixed Bath Screen (Square)

A fixed frameless bath screen with square cut glass. Heavy-duty wall hinges or a channel carry the panel and give a clean, frameless look with no surrounding frame. It is custom sized to suit the space. Screen use 6mm or 10mm toughened safety glass.

BEST FOR clean, minimal over-bath designs
Key spec up to 1200mm wide, square glass
Swing Frameless Bath Screen
Semi-Frameless / Frameless Radius

Fixed Bath Screen (Radius)

A fixed frameless panel with a radius corner. Available in two options: a semi-framed panel, with framing along the bottom edge and down the wall side, or a frameless panel held by minimal brackets. Made from 6mm or 10mm toughened safety glass.

BEST FOR Simple, fixed splash control
Key spec up to 1200mm wide, radius corner (250–300mm)
Which Option Suits You

Choosing the Right Bath Shower Screen

The best bath shower screen depends on how your bath is used. If you need an over-bath shower screen for a combined bath-and-shower, access and splash control matter more than looks alone. Bath shape, wall layout and cleaning also play a part, so it helps to compare the three options side by side before you decide.

Splash Control, Realistically

A bath shower screen helps contain normal shower spray, but it is not designed to seal a bath the way a full shower enclosure does. How well it controls splash depends on the bath shape, showerhead position, screen width, wall layout and how the bath is used. We confirm the option that suits your bathroom during the free on-site measure.

Why Fit a Screen Over a Bath

Over bath shower screens contain spray better than a shower curtain, keep the bathroom floor drier, and let a shower over the bath work in one compact space. It is also a fixed glass fixture that holds up over time. If you want to read more before deciding, our bath shower screen buying guide walks through the options in more detail.

Glass & Finishes

Glass and Frame Options

Bath shower screens are made in 6mm or 10mm toughened glass, available in clear, Opti, fluted, acid etch (frosted) and tinted glass. Clear keeps the look open, while frosted and tinted options add privacy. You can compare the full range on our shower screen glass options page.

Hardware finishes depend on the screen type. Frameless bath screens use bracket fixings, available in 11 finishes. Semi-frameless bath screens come in one of seven frame colours: Black, Gunmetal, Nickel, Polished Silver, Matt Silver, Satin Gold and White.

Bracket Fixings: Frameless

Frameless bath screens use bracket fixings, available in 11 finishes, so the hardware can be matched to your tapware and bathroom fittings.

Optional Glass Coating

For easier cleaning, we offer an optional glass coating, applied to both sides of the glass during manufacturing. It helps water and soap residue run off the surface and carries a 10-year warranty from the coating company, provided correct cleaning instructions are followed.

Optional Radius Corner

Many of our bath panels can be finished with a curved radius corner, typically 250–300mm, instead of a square top edge. Radius bath shower screens soften the lines of the panel and are a popular option over a bath. We quote radius bath screens as part of your custom panel during the free on-site measure.

The REGAL Difference

Why Choose REGAL for Bath Shower Screens

We custom-make every bath shower screen to suit the measured bath and wall layout, so the screen fits the space rather than forcing the space to fit a standard size. Here is what you get when you choose REGAL.

Made to Fit Your Bath

Every bath shower screen is built from the measurements we take on site, with your bath shape, wall alignment, showerhead position and access checked before anything is made.

Real Bath Screen Options

We make three confirmed bath screen styles: Fixed Swing Double Panel, Frameless Bath Screen and Single Panel. Each screen uses 6mm toughened safety glass, cut, processed and toughened at the Brisbane glass plant.

Glass and Finish Choice

Semi-frameless bath screens come in seven frame colours, while frameless bath screens use bracket fixings in 11 finishes. An optional glass coating can also be applied during manufacturing, with a 10-year warranty from the coating company.

Measured and Quoted On Site

The slimline frame is made from Australian aluminium in Melbourne, giving you a stronger, better-finished frame than many imported alternatives. We also hand-mitre our corners, rather than using standard square cuts and plastic corner connectors.

Installed by REGAL

Your screen is custom-built at our Nerang factory and installed by our own team. We do not use subcontractors, and we do not offer supply-only bath shower screens.

Warranty and Compliance

Bath shower screens carry a 2-year warranty and are installed to the relevant Australian Standards.

FAQs

Bath Shower Screen FAQs

The cost of a bath shower screen on the Gold Coast depends on the type you choose, the size, the glass option, the frame colour, the condition of your walls and what the installation involves. Because every screen is made to measure, we confirm the price after a free on-site measure and give you a same-day fixed quote, so the figure you get is the figure you pay.

Most baths can take a glass shower screen, but whether yours suits a particular style depends on the bath shape, wall layout, showerhead position and the access you need. We measure on site so the screen can be made to suit your actual bath and wall conditions, rather than assuming a standard fit.

The best shower screen for a bath depends on how the bath is used. A single panel suits simple splash control, a fixed swing double panel gives easier access in and out, and a frameless bath screen suits a cleaner, more minimal look. We confirm the right option for your bathroom during the on-site measure.

A frameless bath shower screen over a bath can be a good choice when the layout allows it. Our frameless bath screens use 6mm and 10mm toughened safety glass and are custom sized to the space, with an optional radius corner where it suits the bathroom. We confirm whether frameless works for your bath during the measurement.

Yes, we make radius bath shower screens with a curved corner, typically 250–300mm, as an option on our bath panels. The radius softens the top edge instead of a square finish, and we confirm whether it suits your bath and the look you want during the free on-site measure.

We supply and install bath shower screens with our own team, so it is never supply only. The process runs from a free on-site measure and same-day fixed quote through to the custom build and professional installation. You deal with REGAL from start to finish, with no subcontractors and no DIY fitting.

Keeping a bath shower screen clean is mostly a quick squeegee after showering and the odd wipe with a non-abrasive cleaner, and the glass type affects how visible water marks are. Our optional nano coating, applied to both sides during manufacturing, helps water and soap residue run off and reduces cleaning. It carries a 10-year warranty from the coating company.
